How does motion work, what forces hold things together, what forces control our Universe and more! What do animals eat? Why do they live where they live? Why are there so many kinds of animals? Why do sharks live in the ocean but not in a lake? Animals live in all kinds of places and live in all kinds of different ways. We will explore the animal kingdom from the smallest barnacle to the biggest whale, from fish that glow in the dark to snakes that can fly. We will explore this diversity while participating in hands on experiments, like racing hot lizards to learn about thermoregulation and testing the effect of smelling crabs on snails looking for food. We will also get to know the amazing animals that live right in our neighborhood by watching them eat, breathe and grow right in the lab. Tuition: $300 Lab fee: $75
